NATO Secretary General awards travel certificates to Ukraine’s Invictus Games team
On August 10, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met with the members of Ukraine’s Invictus Games team at Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv and presented them with travel certificates. The tickets were presented during the Secretary General’s visit in honour of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Distinctive Partnership between NATO and Ukraine.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg wished the Ukrainian athletes success in Toronto. Jens Stoltenberg spoke with the team individually and presented each athlete and member of the official delegation with certificates and travel tickets.
Team captain Oleksandr Pysarenko gave Jens Stoltenberg an Invictus Games t-shirt signed by the 15 members of the competition team as a symbol of the continued cooperation between NATO and Ukraine.
