You supported the Invictus — and it was amazing!
Within two months, #MillionVoices in support of Ukrainian unconquered soldiers was heard from all over Ukraine and the world. Your videos and social media publications inspired wounded, ill and injured servicemen and women, both serving and veterans, on their way toward this year's Invictus Games and encouraged them to achieve outstanding results in the competition. And they succeeded — in their first Games, 15 members of the Ukrainian national team have won 14 medals in six sports!

A Million Voices
A Million Voices is a global movement in support of the competitors of the Invictus Games. It is a way of saying thank you to soldiers, who endured great hardship while defending their country and whose spirit remained undefeated. This year a strong voice of support will also sound for Ukraine’s unconquered fighters.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
There are multiple ways to ensure your voice is heard and counted towards the goal of one million over the coming months::
- Record a video of you reciting all or part of the Invictus poem (downloadable here)
- Post your video on social media using #МільйонГолосів #AMillionVoices #InvictusGamesTeamUkraine or upload to YouTube and share its URL with us using the field below
- Get two of your friends on social media to join the initiative
You can also show your support to the Invictus community by printing the Invictus poem and displaying it at home, work or school.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
The Invictus Games is the only international sporting event for armed services personnel and veterans who were became wounded, ill or injured while serving their country. These brave men and women protected our peace, and now it is time to express our gratitude and support.
We are creating a movement to help draw attention to the Invictus Games and honour our brave warriors. We are building a community to support and cheer on our athletes as they prepare for the Invictus Games. A Million Voices gives every Ukrainian an opportunity to voice their support and thank our veterans and the men and women who continue to serve their country.

WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO ACHIEVE?
Between now and the opening of the Toronto Invictus Games on September 23, 2017, we are challenging one million Ukrainians to show their support for our troops and veterans by reciting the Invictus poem. Upload a video of you, your friends, community, colleagues or sports team reciting all or part of the Invictus poem and have your voice of support heard by our brave warriors.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone across Ukraine! Soldiers and veterans who wish to support their brothers-in-arms, organizations, businesses, students, children and adults – there are no restrictions.

WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING?
The A Million Voices initiative seeks to bring together Ukrainians and citizens of Invictus Games participating countries around the world in voicing their support for their servicemen and women.
