What are the Invictus Games?
ІThe Invictus Games is an international adaptive sports event for military personnel and veterans who have been injured, wounded, or fallen ill while performing their duties on the battlefield. This international event was founded by the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, in 2014. Ukraine has been participating in the Invictus Games since 2017. Currently, the Invictus Games are the largest veteran event and community in Ukraine.
Who can participate?
Veterans or military personnel who have suffered injuries, wounds, or illnesses during the Russian-Ukrainian war as a result of participating in combat operations and defending their homeland, and who have not previously been part of Ukrainian teams at other international events (Invictus Games, Warrior Games, Air Force Trials, etc.).
