“I would not like to be thanked just because I am on a prosthesis,” Roman Poltavets

Roman Poltavets, was wounded during a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in his native Kharkiv region as a result of enemy shelling in June 2022.  Before joining the war, he played soccer and mini-football. He always supports and willingly accepts invitations to competitions, both before the war and now. According to Roman, this means: “I will not break”.
