Training program for trainers

The first program in Ukraine with a multidisciplinary approach to training coaches to work with veterans in the field of adaptive sports, which takes into account physical and psycho-emotional recovery and is the work of Stratcom UA, Ihor Neskorenykh in Ukraine, Ukrainian and American specialists thanks to the partnership of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the IREX Veterans Rehabilitation and Reintegration Program.

The goal of the program was to support and expertly strengthen sports coaches who seek to work with veterans with injuries, wounds or illnesses in order to restore and strengthen Ukrainian society.

During the first training program:

– the first training program in Ukraine with a multidisciplinary approach to training coaches for working with veterans through adaptive sports was developed and implemented;

– 145 participants from different regions of Ukraine underwent online training according to the program, which included 11 lectures from leading specialists;

– the participation of 34 coaches who successfully completed the full course and acquired important skills for working with veterans within the framework of sports rehabilitation was confirmed;

– On October 18-19, 2025, a practical training was held at the Borodyanka Scientific and Educational Expert Center, where veterans and participants of the Invincible Games shared their experience of recovery through sports.
